A few posts ago we met the fellow who was a Cowboy Poet, remember? Well I have a dear friend named Mark that this guy totally reminded me of. Mark is from those parts and is a cowboy and just something about the two of them felt like they were kindred spirits.
So you must go back and read about our interaction with this guy so you can appreciate this post. I sent the email out to tons of friends, like always, including Mark. Didn't say a word extra to him and a few days later he sends me this!!! He obviously felt the connection as well.
" Holy Cow"
As a Ranger in this forest, I see alot of Stuff
Nature at its finest, I can never get enough.
But just the other day, when I thought I'd seen it all
I came across this Hippi Gal, and this is what I saw.
Now she was close to nature, there was to be no doubt
And when she took her T shirt off Her titties just fell out.
Well she was calfy, and had a young-un by her side,
I guess he might be three years old, and stood bout this here high.
She grabbed that runt and held him close, so he could have his lunch
while chattin with me casually, she didn't have a hunch,
While I appeared to be quite calm, and taking this in stride,
Like this sorta thing happens all the time, I was bustin up inside.
I can't remember what we talked about, I don't even have a clue
It could have been the weather, but my face was turnin blue,
Its best to breath occasionally, when you're in a spot like this,
Or it could get a little awkward if I fainted and fell off this cliff.
When lunch for shorty was over, she just smiled and said so long,
And waddled off with junior and they sang some cowboys song,
I think, I said be careful, there's Bears on this here trail,
But I'm not sure exactly, if I did or didn't tell,
That was a pleasure to have met you,
A day I'll not forget, the time I found a hippi
With a baby on her hip.
